I’m so excited to share the website launch for Vancouver realtor, Amit Manhas. This isn’t your typical realtor site, I don’t think so anyway, as it’s meant to be welcoming and relatable; that is service forward and packed full of resources and tools without resistance.
CUSTOM SHOWIT WEBSITE
I have been working with Amit for a few months building, uplifting, and updating his digital marketing across the board. Real Estate is a highly competitive industry and cookie-cutter websites just aren’t, well, cutting it when it’s time to stand out. With Showit you have full creative freedom, to streamline and customize your features without code, without limits.
Here’s a before and after of Amit’s homepage:
WORDPRESS BLOG MIGRATION
Amit’s previous site was hosted and managed by a multi-site agency that also used WordPress, which meant we were able to preserve and migrate all of the posts to Showit with ease. Another great thing about Showit is that you can custom design your blog pages. This allows you to create an ‘online library’ for a truly stellar user experience.
The difference is night and day. Same content, completely different experience > https://amitmanhas.ca/blog/
IDX HOME SEARCH WITH IHOMEFINDER PLUGIN
But perhaps the most important function of a Real Estate website is auto-populating MLS listings so that visitors can easily search and browse properties on your own website (instead of sending them to external sources). This is achieved with a WordPress plugin. You will need the Showit + Advanced Blog subscription to enable this. For Amit’s website we chose the iHomeFinder IDX Plugin. I couldn’t be happier with this plugin and how seamlessly it integrates with Showit.

BUILDING YOUR REALTOR WEBSITE ON SHOWIT
Showit isn’t exactly a new platform, but it’s only just beginning to grab the attention of realtors (and rightly so!) Being one of the early-birds to the platform means you have all the ‘wow factor’, but it also means there isn’t a great deal of niche specific support (particularly on the IDX side of things, which is more WordPress centric).
